Readmitted Student Orientation — Spring 2010
If you previously attended KU and earned credit, then you are a readmitted student. You may elect to participate in continuing student enrollment and seek advising and enrollment for your spring 2010 semester or you may attend the Spring Orientation program on Tuesday, January 12, 2010. If you have questions concerning which process is best for you, consult with your advisor or contact the Office of the University Registrar, 151 Strong Hall, (785) 864-4422, kuregistrar@ku.edu.
Orientation will involve an update session on recent changes at KU, an academic information meeting, advising, and enrollment. If it has been several years since you attended KU and you need more extensive information, you may want to consider attending the entire session. With regard to academic advising, in most cases you will follow the degree requirements in effect when you first attended KU. Verify your status with your academic division.
If you have attended other colleges since you departed KU, send official transcripts to KU's Office of Admissions & Scholarships. If there is not time to send a final transcript before orientation, bring a grade report or an unofficial transcript to assist in advising. Failure to supply information on all college credits completed could delay your advising and enrollment and result in inappropriate course selection.
