Mathew Shepard

Mathew Shepard, a junior double majoring in environmental studies and economics with a pre-law interest, is an Honors Program University Scholar and a Summerfield Scholar. He is a member of the Marching Jayhawks, Men's Glee Club and National Residence Hall Honorary. Mathew is also an executive member of the All Scholarship Hall Council and a proctor of Krehbiel Scholarship Hall.

"Academics are important at KU, and studying is a key to being successful. Don't put off studying to the last minute. Try to work ahead; it'll give you more free time and you'll have less stress."
