NOTE: If you will graduate from high school in spring 2009, you are a freshman at KU regardless of the number of college or advanced placement credits you have completed.

On day one, the orientation program will begin at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 8:00 p.m. (you can begin checking in as early as noon). Once you have been confirmed for an orientation date, you will be given your designated check-in time via the mail. On day 2, the orientation program will resume at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 5:00 p.m. Advising and enrollment is scheduled for day 2 & can be completed ONLY if you have attended all of the sessions. Arrange your travel plans accordingly.

Following is an example of a typical freshman orientation program. Session topics and times are subject to change. You will be given an up-to-date program schedule when you check-in for your orientation session.
